Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

Dracula's Castle Map — Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

Last updated: August 2026

The castle is downtown. That is the image Konami is selling. It is also a classic Castlevania interior once you are inside: candles, bells, chapels, and bosses who have been waiting since 1476. Navigate it with the castle walkthrough and treat every locked shaft as an Arcana question.

Biomes inside the silhouette

Official copy promises gothic aesthetics plus vivid new stages. Do not expect one brown hallway. Clocktowers, blood chapels, forgemaster workshops for Isaac, and a throne approach are the safe bets. Carmilla is explicitly inside. Death belongs here. Medusa might sit on the threshold.

Fast travel still works. You will bounce back to Paris attics after castle pickups. The atlas does not split. If a Paris roof opened, it is because a castle card said so. Keep the Arcana page in another tab while you explore.

Ability gates to remember

  • Arcana Whip rings on chandeliers and outer walls
  • Joan's explosion or similar floor-breaks
  • Medusa petrify as a puzzle, not only a weapon
  • Death-related blinks or cuts if that card is a traversal tool

Until Konami ships a map screen screenshot with labels, this is the honest guide: the castle is the late-game folder of the same file as Paris. Walk it slowly. XP still matters. Chests still matter. Dracula is the gravity well at the top.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the castle procedurally generated?

No. It is a handcrafted Metroidvania interior connected to Paris.

Can I enter the castle first?

The preview path makes you earn the whip and at least one city boss first. Treat early castle doors as late-game.
