Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse System Requirements
Last updated: August 2026
Konami has published capacity, frame-rate, language, and rating data. A full PC CPU/GPU grid was not on the official product sheet at the time of writing, so this page does not invent one. When Steam posts minimum/recommended boxes, they belong here. Until then, use the numbers that actually exist.
Install size and performance
- Standard Edition: 8 GB (Nintendo Switch 4 GB; Nintendo lists ~4.2 GB)
- Midnight Edition: 10 GB (Switch 6 GB)
- Frame rate: 60 fps on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC; 30 fps on Switch
- Switch 2 compatibility: Nintendo lists behavior consistent with Switch
This is a 2D action-exploration title from the Dead Cells studio cluster, not an Unreal 5 open world. An 8 GB install is believable. The Switch 30 fps cap is the one performance choice you cannot mod around. If 60 fps is a requirement, buy PS5, Xbox, or PC. Controls still work; timing windows just have fewer frames. See controls.
Languages
Audio: Japanese and English. Text: Japanese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean. This wiki localizes English, French, German, and European Spanish because those are mainstream SKUs minus the instruction to skip Simplified Chinese and Russian.
Ratings and accessibility
ESRB Teen for blood, mild suggestive themes, and violence. PEGI 16. CERO C. CSRR 15+. PlayStation accessibility tags include basic remapping and the ability to play without motion, touch, vibration, or adaptive triggers. None of that replaces a full PC spec sheet. If your laptop is a decade old, wait for Steam's official boxes rather than trusting a guessed GTX 1060 line from a stranger.
Edition storage differences matter if you are on a 32 GB Switch card. Midnight's extra two gigabytes are the gallery app. Compare SKUs on the editions page and confirm the date on the release date article before you preload.
Frequently Asked Questions

No. Official spec is 30 fps on Switch and 60 fps elsewhere.
