Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Release Date

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse launches on 15 October 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows via Steam and the Microsoft Store. That date is locked across Konami's official site, Nintendo's store page, and Gematsu. It is the 40th anniversary year of the franchise and the first traditional 2D timeline entry since Order of Ecclesia in 2008.

How the date was announced

The game revealed in February 2026 during a State of Play Konami segment with producer Tsutomu Taniguchi. A second trailer at the June Xbox Games Showcase set October 15 for PS5, Xbox, and PC, while Switch was briefly listed as later in 2026. On 15 July 2026 Konami put Switch back on the same Thursday. If you saw an older "Switch later" headline, it is outdated. The how to play trailer still matches the current SKU list.
