Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Walkthrough
Last updated: August 2026
This Castlevania: Belmont's Curse walkthrough is written for the pre-launch window. Evil Empire and Konami have shown roughly the first three hours: a bishop summons Trevor Belmont to 1499 Paris, Trevor hands Rose the Vampire Killer, and the city plus castle become a single Metroidvania map. Use it with the how to play guide if you are still learning the whip.

The campaign is not a Dead Cells-style run. Konami confirmed a persistent map, auto-filling rooms, save chapels, and fast travel. Experience from regular enemies raises attack and defense, so a failed boss attempt is not wasted. Read the Arcana page before the first elite, because the tarot deck is the real progression spine after The Fallen.
Route order in the demo is Paris streets, sewers and catacombs, then a rooftop climb toward a corrupted Joan of Arc. The castle is the late-game biome. Jump to Paris Streets, the Catacombs, Paris Rooftops, or Dracula's Castle as you unlock each gate.
How this walkthrough is structured
Each chapter lists movement unlocks, likely boss gates, and the items previewers actually found. Relic slots matter immediately — the Crypt Key relic fully restores health and mana when you open a chest, which changes how greedy you can be on a first pass. Pair relic notes with the relics guide and the relic loadout tool.
- Do not skip trash packs before a boss: XP is the intended retry tax.
- Wall jump, slide, and dodge are available from the start — there is no hour-long tutorial lock.
- Clues to the next boss are stored in the menu. Check them before you commit to a locked arena.
- Healing is flask-like on L1, with extra potions stackable on top of the starting three.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a full launch walkthrough yet?
Not until the October 15, 2026 release. These chapters reconstruct the hands-on demo path and official area list so you know what the first session looks like.
Do I need to play Castlevania III first?
No. The story recaps Trevor's 1476 victory. Series fans will catch more names, but Rose's campaign is written as a new entry point.
